Learning Log May 16th

The light blur picture that I created is quite successful, I think I will improve myself more on this skill.
Also, it's a little hard to put all thess pictures  in one work.
Today's point is how to separate the blur ration in your picture.
The fianl project due date is coming soon so I need hurry up to finish all my works.

Learning Log May10th

I was looking for light blur tutorial this class. Im not decided which kind light blur I want to do yet. But the kind of light blur im looking for is there are many different kinds of fabulous coloring.
There are many tutorial on the internet, but some of them are too professional. The one Im looking for is not very professional but still not in a very low level.
The connections from last class is still prepare for my final project, a slide show including my photoshop works and the editted pictures taken by me.

Learning Log May 8th

I learned a tutorial about how to adjust your own camera's picyures, including several tools to adjust red eyes, light and some color stuff.
Its very interesting when you edit your own pictures, after the editting you can make the protrait pictures more beatiful, and your scenery pictures more fabulous.
Today's point is how to adjust the elements on your own pictures.

Learning Log May4th

After I learned the basic I made a slide for my pictures with my classmates in China at home.
It's quite intersting. I choose the music to sync with the pictures.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqNWe8LRzNI&noredirect=1
This is the tutorial I learned last class.
Now Im going to focus on my photoshop works, I decided to focus on two kinds of pictures, light blur and edit on my DSLR camera photos.

Learning Log May,2th

I learned a tutorial for final cut pro on youtube, bascially it is a very low level tutorial for beginners, but I still learn many useful things because I never use it before.
I only learned how to put the pictures together, but I didn't learned how o adjust the photos and let the picyure fit the screen like I want.
The connection from last class is the video learning. I will keep working on it for the next few classess.

Learning Log May 30th

I tried to find some interesting tutorials on the internet.
Im focus on how to make a lucid stamp of my name, so that I can put it on all my photoshop work.
I find something interesting that almost every tutorial piccture on it, so I want to make a stamp and use it too.
I almost finsihed my stamp drawing, but actually I dont know how to chang it in to a lucid stamp.Maybe I can make it by create a new brush.
THE connection between this class and last class is the blur tutorial and my own stamp.

Learning Log Apr.26

I decoded to connect all my works in one video. A video like a slide show. It will be a really good memory when look it back many years later.
The problem is I don't have so many photoshop works yet. So I decoded to make several more works and also put some of the pictures taken by my DSLR camera.
I find it's very interesting when you refer to a tutorial, and follow it not exactly the same. It's very interesting to change a little element in it. So that you can add some of your own thinkings into it.

Learning Log May14th

1.I watched several tutorials on the internet. It's a little hard to practice. I need to do more practice at home, and Im going to create some blur pictures by myself.
2. I learned how to create a new brush by youself. You can choose any size and any shape you want, and save it as your own brush.
3.I find it's very interesting that when you draw a picture and then make the side lines  unclear. It makes your drawing more beautiful.
4.I can't find the ellipse tool at the first, and then I found it's because of the version. That's why I can't find that tool on my computer.
5. The most important point of today's class is that I learned how to create your own brush and use it properly.

Self-Evaluation Edon Li

Digital Collage Rubric and Self-Evaluation*
Indicate which level you think you fall on in terms of expectations for each question asked.  In sentences or point-form, answer each of the following questions.  No marks will be deducted for spelling, grammar, or sentence structure as long as I can understand your meaning.

For Example:  Let’s imagine that you learned no new skills in the creation of your project, circle AE for “Approaching Expectations” and then write something like, “While I didn’t push myself to try new things,  I did work on refining a technique I already knew about.  I wish I had pushed myself to take more risks but felt overwhelmed with how much there is to learn in photoshop.”

Exceeds Expectations (EE)                               Demonstrates both significant depth of understanding  and responsibility for
learning.
Fully Meets Expectations (FME)                                    Demonstrates engagement with  learning objectives and seeks meaning.
Minimally Meets Expectations (MME)    Technically meets the criteria but little evidence of engagement or seeking
meaning.
Approaching Expectations (AE)                   Demonstrates potential but isn’t complete.
Does Not Meet Expectations (DNME)      No evidence of engagement or seeking meaning.
